Hello RUFH Alumni, Family, and Friends!

We hope this message finds everyone happy and healthy. Thank you all for your continued support of the Rider Field Hockey Program! Thank you to all who take the time out of your busy lives to support our team. When our student-athletes see alumni at our games, it motivates them. We often share how important our alumni are, because they built this program and set the path to greatness. When you walk on to Ben Cohen Field and see all those championships on the fence, it always brings a smile. Those memories are something no one can ever take away from you and we are grateful for that.

This program can not survive with you all! Our current players are always reminded that this is a program like no other! We base our culture on family, dedication, and loyalty! For the past 24 years our team has relied heavily on our fundraising activities to provide our student-athletes with the little “extras” that make our program special. We’d like to continue being able to do so for our program and need your help. This year inflation has impacted our budget in the worst way. Hotels, bus, and food costs have increased drastically. Our RUFH parents generously provide tailgates after almost every home and away game throughout the season. We feel so lucky to have their support and we are so thankful for their kindness. Last year we were very successful in the “Raise Your Game Challenge” and we are hoping this trend continues! Many alumni, friends, and family donate to our program which is selfless and kind.

We are asking those who are in a position to help to consider supporting our team by donating to our program. This year’s challenge again will focus on alumni participation goals and any gifts of $35.00 or more will count in our favor. However, please know that any amount possible would be welcomed and greatly appreciated. Due to your generosity last year, we reached our donor goal with the “Raise Your Game Challenge.” We’ve consistently placed amongst the overall leaders in all years prior!

You all are amazing and we can’t thank you enough! We’d like to thank all of our alumni, family, and friends who have already helped the field hockey program this year. It means so much to us that you continue to show your RUFH pride! Your overwhelming support helps our program significantly and allows us to provide the best equipment, uniforms, and travel accommodations for our student-athletes. We invite all of you to invest in this new generation of student-athletes and help us maintain our strong traditions that make Rider proud. We need your help more than ever as we work to reach our goal and keep our successful streak going with the “Raise Your Game Challenge!”

We hope to see you all at our Alumni Appreciation Game on September 19, 2025 against Stonehill. The time of the game is to be determined. Stay safe and healthy! Here’s to a great year!
